At the foot of Mont Ventoux, Syrah finds a unique terroir. Altitude-induced freshness, limestone soils, marked temperature variations: everything here contributes to revealing a Syrah that is intense, elegant and deeply marked by its terroir.
With our new 100% Syrah cuvée, we wanted to get back to basics. No artifice. No compromise. Let the grape variety speak for itself, telling the story of Ventoux in its most sincere form.

A Syrah born from a high-altitude terroir

Grown on plots located between 300 and 400 metres above sea level, our Syrah benefits from a cooler climate than the rest of the southern Rhône Valley. The cool nights preserve the natural acidity of the grapes, while the generous sunshine ensures optimal ripeness. The result is a balanced, precise Syrah that is never heavy, where the freshness structures the wine and prolongs the tasting experience.

The choice of 100% Syrah

Why a 100% Syrah cuvée?
Because this grape variety is the DNA of Ventoux. It embodies both the power of the South and an astonishing finesse when the terroir allows it.

In this cuvée:

the Syrah is harvested at perfect maturity,
the vinification is carried out with precision to preserve the fruit,
the ageing is designed to complement the wine without masking its identity.

The aim is to reveal a pure, straightforward, expressive Syrah that is faithful to its origins.

Tasting notes: intensity and freshness.

Aged for a year in concrete vats, this new cuvée reveals:

On the nose: aromas of crisp black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), enhanced by notes of pepper, violet and a slightly smoky touch.
On the palate: a supple attack, beautiful texture, fine tannins and a fresh, spicy finish, the signature of Ventoux Syrahs.

A structured but accessible wine, equally suited for the table or for ageing.

Food and wine pairings: a Syrah for fine

Thanks to its balance and freshness, this 100% Syrah cuvée is the perfect accompaniment to grilled or roasted meats, lamb with Provençal herbs, slow-cooked dishes (stew, tagine with mild spices), or even vegetarian cuisine based on roasted vegetables and spices.
